Outreach without getting restricted
· By the Outrify team
Your account is your work tool. One restriction and everything stops: no more messages, no more conversations, no more new models. No tool or method can promise zero risk, but most restrictions come from the same mistakes, and they can be avoided. Enough to prospect with peace of mind.
Why accounts get restricted
Platforms try to limit anything that looks like spam. The behaviors that draw their attention are almost always the same:
- Too many messages, too fast: a large volume all at once, with no breaks.
- Identical messages: the same text sent to dozens of people.
- A new or barely active account that suddenly starts sending a lot.
- Ignored or reported messages, often because they go to people outside the target.
How many messages a day?
There's no magic number that works for everyone. The right volume depends on your account's age, its usual activity and its history. A few guidelines:
- Start low and ramp up gradually. An account that goes from zero to a lot overnight takes more risk than one that increases over several weeks.
- Spread sends throughout the day rather than sending everything in one block.
- Split the volume across several accounts instead of pushing a single account to the max.
In Outrify, caps are set per plan: up to 40 messages per day per account with Starter, up to 100 with Pro. These are caps, not targets: on a new account, stay well below them at first.
Best practices
- Personalize every message. A message tailored to the profile is more useful to the person receiving it, and gets more replies.
- Target precisely. Fewer off-target messages means fewer ignored or reported messages.
- Never contact the same person twice without a reason, and never contact again someone who told you no.
- Stop at the first signals. A warning, a blocked action, a message that won't send: that's the time to pause, not to insist.
Play by the rules
Each platform has its own terms of use, which change regularly. You remain responsible for complying with them, as well as with the rules that apply to prospecting and to the protection of the personal data of the people you contact (such as the GDPR). Respectful, targeted and moderate outreach is also the kind that works best over time.
The signals that should make you stop
Restrictions rarely come without warning. Warnings, temporary limits, refused actions: these are signals to take seriously. Continuing to send after a warning is the surest way to turn a limit of a few hours into a longer restriction.
What Outrify does to protect your accounts
Outrify applies these rules for you, every day, without you having to think about them:
- Daily limits per account, and pacing recommendations.
- Scheduled send times: sends go out in the time slots you choose.
- Risk signal monitoring and an automatic stop as soon as a signal appears, with an alert to notify you.
- Messages tailored to each profile, not the same text for everyone.
- A 14-day guarantee: if Outrify doesn't work as intended, or if an account gets restricted although you respected our limits, your first payment is refunded (terms in the Sales Terms (FR)).
You stay in control of your pace, within your plan's limits. Exceeding the recommendations is your responsibility.
